The is the temporary home of Mobius Consultancy & Training, my new project
I offer consultancy & training regarding vicarious traumatisation
For more information regarding my work, please contact me on email@example.com
If you would like information on my background and the work I have done, please explore this site.
My training and consultancy is based on nearly twenty years experience gathered in the fields of substance misuse, domestic abuse, mental health, child protection & trauma. This expertise has developed from my work as a therapist in a family service, as a strategic domestic abuse coordinator, service development manager and as a private therapist specialising in working with complex family issues.
I have experience of devising tailor made training programmes for a variety of organisations and local authorities.
I have also developed training programs aimed at workers in the social care field, to increase their understanding of safe practice when working with complex family issues, including addiction, abuse, stalking, mental health issues, honour based violence and trauma.
I offer vicarious trauma training to practitioners and organisations in the social care field to ensure greater awareness of secondary trauma associated with their work and limit the impact on workers.
I also supervise and coach individual practitioners and teams in the field working with a variety of issues.
I am particularly interested in professionals who identify as 'duel status' having lived expertise and professional qualifications in the field.
If you would like to discuss your training needs please go to the contact page to complete the contact form and I will get in touch as soon as possible.
I am also available to discuss consultancy needs for statutory and voluntary services in addressing your current practice when working with families, particularly in terms of addressing adverse childhood experiences (ACE's).
